When my fiancee and I were searching for a photographer for our own Wedding we were dismayed at the cost of professional photographers. Adding the costs of photographers' time for the day, proofs, reprints and (gulp!) albums was a daunting prospect. We realised that there was a lack of what we really wanted in a photographer for our wedding - somebody who offers professional quality photography but without the unnecessary (and expensive) extras.

Two Photographers

I like to work with another photographer for weddings, Kim Maisch (www.kmaisch.com). This means we are able to capture those special moments that a single photographer might miss and, if you wish, allows you to have one photographer with the bride and one with the groom before the ceremony, capturing both sides of the picture that you otherwise wouldn't see.

Professional Equipment and Presentation

I shoot all my photographs on a Nikon D80 digital SLR and at the end of your wedding carefully scrutinise and process the digital negatives to ensure you receive the best possible quality images. The advantage of digital images is that there are a many ways I can present your images to you.

Digital images on CD

If (like me) you just want the digital images to use however you choose so that you can choose at your leisure which to print, I can provide you with high resolution images in JPEG format. I can also provide you with the digital negatives although the size of these files means that multiple discs are needed and there may be a slight extra charge for materials and burning time.

DVD presentations

Your images can be presented as an elegant slideshow that you can play on your DVD player or computer with accompanying music of your choice (or I can select some for you).

Online display and ordering of reprints

I can host your photographs on this website in my galleries area so that your guests, relatives, and faraway friends can view them and even order prints online.
